The Fondazione Mimmo Rotella has been set up in 2000 following the artist’s will. It preserves, promotes and records the works by Mimmo Rotella in the Archive. During the years the Foundation worked to the realization of important monographic exhibitions about Rotella.

On 18 March 2005 the artist opened the Casa della Memoria, the house-museum he strongly wanted reorganizing his house in the city-center of Catanzaro.
